Artwork size, bleed & safe area
Set the finished card to 3.5 × 2 inches. Add 0.125 inch of bleed on each edge: the full horizontal artwork canvas is 3.75 × 2.25 inches (1125 × 675 pixels at 300 DPI). For vertical cards, swap width and height.
Keep important text and logos at least 0.125 inch inside each trim edge. Extend backgrounds through the bleed. The central safe area is 3.25 × 1.75 inches. Avoid thin borders near the cut edge.
Prepare your front & back files
- Upload separate Front and Back files. PDF is preferred; PNG and JPG are accepted, up to 10 MB each.
- Use CMYK when preparing print PDFs. Use images at 300 DPI at their intended print size.
- Embed fonts or convert text to outlines in PDFs.
- Keep both sides in the same orientation and explain any special rotation in your instructions.
- Check contact details and spelling. Test any QR code at the actual card size before uploading.
The product image is an example. We print the artwork you submit and approve.
Digital proof & approval
- Select your package and upload both designs.
- Enter the email where you want to receive the proof.
- Review both sides, spelling, positioning and orientation. Request changes before approval.
- Approve the proof explicitly before production begins.
The checkout acknowledgment is not artwork approval. Your digital proof is for layout and content; it cannot guarantee exact printed color. Proof review is handled by email.
Paper, gloss & everyday use
The 16pt stock offers a substantial feel. The UV finish is glossy on both sides and is not recommended for cards intended for writing. Choose clear contact details and strong contrast for easy reading.
Production & delivery
We confirm the production estimate with your proof. Production starts after approval; shipping time is separate. Rush requests require confirmation before ordering.
Need other papers, finishes or multiple designs?
For uncoated or linen paper, satin or spot UV, rounded corners, special packaging, multiple names or a custom quantity, request a custom quote. Availability, artwork requirements and price must be confirmed separately. The package prices above apply only to the listed standard specifications.
